Location

Keralbaud is a quiet, friendly hamlet situated in the small commune of Guenin, which lies in the Morbihan department of Brittany.

Morbihan has a century-old forest, shadowed valleys and sun-drenched moors, and is said to be still haunted by the ghosts of well-known characters, such as Merlin the magician, and by the vestiges of many lost civilisations.  It boasts one of the greatest concentrations of ancient megaliths. Carnac, a half hour drive from Keralbaud, is famous for its endless lines of standing stones, as well as mile upon mile of fine, sandy beaches. Golf courses and beaches are all within easy reach. In Morbihan, both sea and countryside blend together into a single entity, ready to greet you for a perfect holiday from our centrally placed holiday accommodation. The market town of Baud is only ten minutes drive away, and has the full compliment of shops, including several restaurants and three large supermarkets. With the coast just 20 minutes drive away, and the cities of Vannes and Lorient within 30 minutes, Keralbaud is ideally situated for a peaceful, unrushed holiday, but with plenty to see and do.

Your holiday accommodation is situated some two and a half hours easy drive from the ports of St Malo and Roscoff, three and a half hours from Caen and fours hours from Cherbourg. Nearby airports are Rennes (one and a half hours), Lorient (one hour), Dinard (two hours) and Brest (two hours)

Les Sapins is set in fifty acres of farmland and has gardens bordered by its own own 15 acres of forest and river. This provides a safe adventure playground for young explorers, as there is no passing traffic and the lane to the house is about half a mile long.

There are spectacular views over the surrounding fields and woods.

Facilities include own river fishing (trout have been caught here!), wind surfing at Pont Augan leisure centre (10km), local shops, restaurants, tennis and indoor swimming pool at Baud (4km)

The accommodation is a traditional Breton longère which has been sympathetically restored and decorated to provide three holiday cottages. They still retain many original features, but with all the modern day needs.

3) Les Sapins    3 bedrooms, sleeps 6, bathroom
